The Salida Middle School PHASTjv was recognized for being awarded as Stanislaus County PHASTjv Chapter of the Year. The club is led by Glynis Dove. PHAST is a youth coalition dedicated to Protecting Health And Slamming Tobacco by organizing peer education and advocacy in schools and communities. Students who have caring relationships, high expectations and opportunities for meaningful participation will be more resilient and equipped to make lasting changes in our community.
