I am thrilled to be here at Salida Middle School.  I am teaching eighth grade mathematics for Salida Union School District.  I have spent the last 30+ years teaching mathematics at the junior high, high school, and collegiate levels.  I have also had the opportunity to work in administration for six years, leading several clubs, including ASB and KEY Club.   I am looking forward to this year using Desmos and doing lots of exciting activities. There is nothing more rewarding than watching students grow in their own mathematical confidence and persevere in what can be a challenging subject.
