District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
A district-level English Learner Advisory Committee comprised of parents, staff, and community members designated to advise district officials on English learner programs and services. Each California public school district with 51 or more English learners must form a District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC).
DELAC meetings are typically held 4 times per school year. The committee is headed by Ana Garcia, School Principal of Salida Elementary School. Members include parent representatives, teachers, and administrative staff. Salida Union School District Parents/Guardians are invited to attend any of these meetings to learn more about our English Learner (EL) programs and/or provide your feedback!
