Salida Child Development Programs!

We are currently taking applications

for the 2023-2024 school year!

If your child turns 3 by December 1, 2023, you can now register for Head Start, a 6 hour a day program OR California State Preschool, a 3 hour per day program.

Classes begin August 7 for Head Start and August 10 for State Preschool .

Child Development Program Options

Early Head Start Home Base for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old - Home Visitor visits your home one day a week for 90 minutes

Early Head Start Center Base for children between 18 and 36 months - located at Modesto Junior College West Campus * Monday through Friday 8 AM to 230 PM

Regional Head Start for children age 3 to 5 - Child Development Centers located at Mildred Perkins, Dena Boer & Salida Elementary Schools - Monday through Friday 8 AM to 2 PM

California State Preschool for children age 3 to 5 - Child Development Centers located at Mildred Perkins and Dena Boer & Elementary Schools - Monday through Friday 830 AM to 1130 AM or 1230 PM to 0330 PM
