Dear Salida Families and Guardians:

During the school closure, Salida Union School District will be providing learning opportunities for our students to continue in their education while at home.

For Kindergarten through 5th grade, learning packets will be sent home with all students that are in attendance on Wednesday.  For students that are not in attendance, parents may pick up the packets at our sites during breakfast and lunch distributions.  Each site will be distributing food and learning packets between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and 11:00am to Noon Monday through Friday.  There will be no distributions during Spring Break.

Salida Middle School will provide opportunities for distance learning.  Information and links will be pushed out to students through Google Classroom and/or student school email accounts.

All information will be posted on school websites.  Our District Office and School Site Offices will remain open on March 19 and 20, closed during Spring Break (March 23-March 27), and reopening on March 30.

We will continue to make every effort to communicate and update information in a timely fashion. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together through this difficult and uncertain time.
