Dear Salida Families:

Salida Union schools will be suspended effective Thursday, March 19, 2020 through April 5, 2020.  You will be notified in the event that schools remain suspended beyond this time frame.

By closing on Thursday, this gives our families who need it, time to make arrangements for childcare. However, if the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in our County increases between now and this Wednesday, we will close our schools earlier.

During the closure, Salida Union School District will continue to provide much-needed nutrition services to our families with “brown bag” breakfast and lunch pick-ups at each school. We will provide the distribution schedule early this week.

We understand the concerns and many opinions that are circulating about COVID-19, we are taking responsibility to act in the best interests of our students and staff.  Please continue to check our website at www.salida.k12.ca.us for updated information.
